Feeling Minty

When I was little my sister used to eat so many pastel after dinner mints that I thought for sure she would puke up the prettiest of horrors!
Lately I've been gravitating to all colors soft and muted.  Less is more, wouldn't you agree?
These are lovely hues found at Vintage Rhino.

How lovely is this one! Found at Tigerlily Vintage Clothing.
I love these book purses. Made by Novel Creations.
This dress just looks like something you would see on Mad Men found at Hoof and Antler.
I also love lavender.  Check out this gorgeous fairy dress at Very Tres Chic.
This makes me want to buy an old white formal and play around with dye.
I do love a sweet slip dress too.  This is from Shrinkle.
The pink slip dress was found at Parasol Vintage.  I leave you with my favorite dress of the day and guess who has this up for sale?  Why it's our very own Sarah of Misfits Vintage.
Are there any colors you wish you had more of in your closet?

Yes! Purple, pale but not lilac, the slip dress kinda colour.
The fairy dress is so beautiful, I can see you wearing that, definitely.

When I was pregnant with Liam, (OMG 13 years ago) I craved Haribo sweets. I DID puke up the most spectacular rainbow one day, wouldn't flush either! It looked like I'd guzzled the contents of a tropical fish tank.

Too much info?

I like pastel shades but they don't like me, in pale colours I look like a walking corpse but not in a good way.

Those book bags are mental!

Yummy! I don't do pastels that well but I'm leaning to pale pink a bit lately and I do like that dress there.
The book bags are great. I may well have to get one.

This spring I'm drawn to pastel with a little neon, kinda 80s Miami palette!

I'm not much of a pastels to wear girl, but I have managed to embrace pastel nail varnish. I do like all these colours in theory though - just not sure what suits me.

Muted colors? Are you sure hot pink lady?! ;) I'm not a great fan of pastels to be honest (for me to wear) - sky blue is about my limit I think! I like them as colours on other people though, and of course love them on sweets and cakes!! :) x

Wow, I love that blouse and also, that frock makes me want to play with dye too, it's beautiful. I don't know why I don't think of dyeing more clothes. Pastels are big news over here right now, but I don't really own many at all... I think there could be space in my life for more pastels. Xx

I tend not to be drawn to pastels myself, though all the examples you've shown are seriously pretty. I always think I need a bit more DRAMA!
But both of the green 60s style frocks are a great colour, and the little lace slip dress is gorgeous - I can imagine you looking fabulous in that one! xxxxx

I am drooling over the book bags.
