Kiss my Tu Lips

I'm pretty sure I missed my true calling in life, I should have been born a flower!  This was my first time ever to the Tulip Festival and I was blown away by how gorgeous they were!
Yup, I felt right at home among all that color and cheer!
Not one tulip was harmed in the taking of that photo.
Christopher, Ron and Mark are always up for an adventure!
They even had some old steam tractors there.  I was fascinated to see how they worked.

Fire makes steam of course.  These guys have so much passion about these tractors.  I felt lucky to see such an amazing part of history.
I had a few people come up and ask to take my picture, I was so flattered and glad to oblige!
This was Lucifer and yes he is wearing a pink tutu.
Ron and Christopher.
Here are the real stars of the show.

It took forever to get this shot apparently sitting on tractors is really fun :)

and the flowers lived happily for another day.
Live each day like it could be your last bloom!

Look at gorgeous you amongst all those beautiful tulips! That was the perfect dress to wear, I'm not in the least surprised folk wanted to take your picture, you are in full bloom there, Krista!
Those old traction engines are great, aren't they? They remind me of the agricultural shows we were taken to as kids. The blokes who restore and maintain them are always a little obsessive about their engines! The shot of the tractor among the tulips was worth the wait.
Wonderful photos, you really have brightened up a dull day. xxxxx

What an explosion of beauty and colour! You look right at home there, the chief flower in charge of the city of flowers. Flora-Krista Tulipa Cerisa!

You clearly bring a smile to everyone you come across' face, and why wouldn't you? Such happiness bursting out from your petals.

Beautiful images, really clear and sharp.

Wow! Totally stunning! You look completely at home with all that wonderful color. My favourite all time flowers are yellow tulips. They remind me of when I did an exchange programme at University in Holland so I'm totally loving this post :) x

SO SPECTACULAR! I love the tulip festival here too - and Spring is always such a hopeful time of year after months of dreary dark days and rugging up.

You look ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, as always, my lovely - the pink maxi is frickin gorgeous and I LOVE the last pic. And what did we all do before we had floral headpieces??? You look so beautiful - would love to spend a day with you frolicking in fields of flowers!

Love you gorgeous! Sarah xxx
