Punky in Pink

In two weeks Chris and I head for our long anticipated trip to the UK.  I am ecstatic and in denial that it's really happening.  I have wanted to go ever since I was twelve.  I really thought back then I would meet and marry Joe Elliot of Def Leppard and we would have little babies with British accents and live in a castle.  Good thing I never met him, I'm so happy with my sweet Chris.  We celebrate 3 years of marriage tomorrow!

That is worth a twirl for sure!
This is a dress I picked up when we went to the Country Fair.  It was all of $6 and I adore it!
Another reason to twirl is this pink wicker basket purse I scored on ebay.  I have never seen another like it.
I would say this outfit sums up who I am on the inside pretty perfectly.
 Necklace made by me.
 Bad ass purse:)
 Bracelets made by me:)
 Crazy kitty Ash.
I don't know what I would do without my Chris or these boots, good thing I don't have to worry about that.
Last night my friend Kathi and I went to a book signing for fellow blogger, The Bloggess.  The place was packed and the vibe was good.  She talked about diarrhea, Zanex and her cleavage.  I was totally entertained and happy for her success.
I better get this kind of reception when I get to the UK :)  I hope you are all getting into trouble and getting away with it!

Krista, you found your perfect dress! Lace, pretty print, frills, pink, twirly, girly, and it fits like a dream - that dress must have magical powers!
And the wicker bag is a cutie, all your homemade jewellery is so beautiful, and Ash is the prettiest cat in the world (just don't tell mine I said so...)
You will draw WAY bigger crowds in the UK, Krista! If all your UK blog buddies met up with you, what a huge crazy party that would be! Hoping to be giving you a big hug in person very soon!
Happy anniversary to you two love birds. xxxxxxxx

Dearest Krista,
you look fantastic in that awesome outfit, that dress is super pretty, it reminds me of a dirndl and I am a huge fan of them.
I want crazy kitty Ash to jump out of the screen into my lap, just looking at that picture makes my hands itch with cat withdrawal symptoms.
Congrats to your three year anniversary tomorrow. We turned teenagers at our last one, I don't care what anyone else says being married it da bomb and I for one wouldn't like to have it any other way. Hope you guys have a lovely day :)
Lot's of love,

Whoa, that's got to be the biggest crowd at a book signing I've ever seen. Will you be blogging during your trip?

And the dress is marvelous, but we need to locate a puffy pink crinoline for you.
