Can we creep?

Happy Halloween everyone!  Growing up this has always been my favorite holiday.  I hate to admit it but I was that kid who was a princess like 10 years in a row.  I remember the year my Mom suggested I be a hobo, what?  That just sounded ugly to me.  As an adult, I used to spend months working on my costume, which was always something sexy!  This year will be quite chill, handing out candy and then off to see a bloody horror film:)

My favorite all time horror flick was Evil Dead, do any of you remember Ash?

How about LEGEND?  Tim Curry played the best Devil to date.  Is it strange that I had a crush on him in this role?  "The dreams of youth are the regrets of maturity."
Who could forget Hellraiser.
Cutest halloween couple ever!

Who doesn't think dolls are creepy?  I do and the creepier the better.

See how this creepy shot was made here!

Craziest halloween band ever goes to GWAR.
This is what you look like after one of their shows!  I ruined a pair of shoes but totally worth it!
I hope everyone has a fierce celebration!  I have been eating candy all week long and will have to hit the Zumba extra hard next week.  I will leave you with the best Halloween performance of Slayer's Reign in Blood.  This was when my love of Metal began.

Reading this is like an education. I've never seen those films (I know, how crap am I) and I've only heard of Slayer. I predict an afternoon of furiously Googling!
Love the scary dolls and Jack's girl's patchwork dress.
No dressing up and handing out sweets here, even if the skanky youths bothered to make an effort they only want cold hard cash (and you know how fiercely Jon protects his candy stash!)
Enjoy the movie and yes to catching up! I'm definitely home on Sunday (and possibly Friday).
Love you!

I'd kill to know which costume you are going to wear!!!!The evil dead is awesome and I love all the splatter creepy images you posted here!Blood and dolls are my passion and I like the painting with the girl with horns, the original is by Michael Hussar, I'm sure that you like all his works and if you already don't, you are going to love his work!
Happy Halloween
I love you more than Legend!xxxxx

I love Halloween too. Someday I'll have the creepiest house on the block. Those dolls give me ideas ;) We don't really have any plans tho. Maybe I'll bring Fiona by for some trick or treating. Shes never really wanted to be a princess, but for two years she wanted to be a pink superhero. She ended up as a vampiress this year. Happy haunting ~Tammy

Eww, that keyhole in the door scene is so gross and hideous. Probably going to be the best Halloween pic of the week!

I was always "ugly" costume wearer. I think because I never had the confidence to do something sexy. One year I was Natty Gan from that movie of the run away and her dog. I even dragged a giant stuffed husky dog around by a leash. At least I had some place comfy to crash on when I'd had too much to drink. ha!

"Thank you very fucking much" :)
Now that is without a doubt befitting Halloween music!
I love Slayer, love thrash metal...high energy, kick-ass, no-fucking-nonsense music, big YAY to that!
I want to go moshing right now but I guess I'll have to make do with some vigorous headbanging and air guitar playing in front of my compy...got work to do :(
Have a cracking Halloween my dear.
Lot's of Muhahahaha,

I do love a bit of metal. I loved it when GWAR turned up in Empire Records. What is the scary keyhole seen from? Looks a bit like Jim Rash. All these photos are amazing. Halloween wasn't such a big deal when I was growing up, it's usually about getting drunk and dressing in a slutty goth way, which is a shame. I'd rather eat ghost shaped marshmallows and watch scary films xxxx

Hellraiser, my all time favourite film. And Slayer, one of the few metal groups I could tolerate in my youth (tough dating a rocker and not loving metal). This post is excellent, so much going on. I'm sure when I was at school someone said GWAR ejaculated onto the aufiencr?! Gross!
Happy Halloween hun. I'd love to watch horror with you and choke down a few beers.

What a great gruesome Halloween post! I think one of my fav Halloween films is the original "Wicker Man" so psychologically creepy and steeped in ancient pagan roots -- yeah fun, right? XXX Jet
PS love the blog, I'm just usually too lazy to comment!

Do i remember ash? Oh Krista! Liam and I first fell in love partly because of our love for Evil dead (Liams alltime favorite is evil dead 2 though). At the moment I am actually looking at our Bruce Campbell/ash collection. We have 11 at the moment and so many shirts of him, you have no idea. Evil dead for life :)

I am such a bloody wuss, there are loads of horror films I have never seen, it's embarrassing! And I don't know much about metal either... Please forgive me for being such a big girl's blouse!
But I love this collection of images, and I love YOU!
Did you dress up? Bet there were no cutesie princess costumes this year! xxxx

I'm not a horror film fan at all Krista though I've seen a few but they always scare me to death. I love Hallow'ene though, I think part of the reason I keep having kids is so I can dress them up and do all the Hallow'ene stuff every year. I even like kids coming to the door for trick or treat and I'm the kind of person who can usually happily ignore the phone ringing or the door knocking. xx

Himself went to see GWAR and was in the front row, he still says it was one of the best shows he's ever been too!

Hmmm don't watch horror films (other then the classic Bela Lugosi Dracula and Boris K Frankenstein) and don't celebrate Halloween so this is just another day for me--except with extra dog barking at the passing horde (no trick-or-treaters either)
now christmas on the other hand--woohoo the countdown is ON!!

Ah, you! I went to a GWAR show ages ago- back when I was young and somewhat social. I remember thinking: I"m glad I'm not front row.

I didn't get to dress up- I was on an airplane flying home. But I hope you did!
