Frocking A I'm bright!

Happy Friday ya'll!  Is it just me or did this week seem to drag on and on like the election coverage.  Today I have lunch with Dad, I haven't seen him since we got back from holiday.  I am wearing a very special dress, one I got from Vix, she even hemmed it.  I love this dress because it will always remind me of our night out at the pub meeting "the gang" and our delicious curry dinner after, plus it's friggin' fabulous!
It's Italian made and in beautiful condition.  The puffy sleeves make my heart skip beats.
I bought the beautiful handmade hat from a gorgeous gal right here in Portland.  Everything in her entire booth was some earth tone and then there was this!  It was $35 which I thought was a deal for such a beautiful one of kind handmade hat, and we both decided it was just waiting for me.
 I love hats!
Twirling was in order.
I have four of these butterfly belts and I get so much use out of them.
I know you love my hat too :)

This weekend I need to take it easy a bit, I'm feeling a little run down and a bit all over the place.  The rain comes today and I can say it fits my mood.  I plan on getting crafty in front of the fire.  Now if only those Barbie heads would show up :)

Have a wonderful few days of freedom!

That dress will forever hold fond memories for me, too. Us getting tod off by Jon for gossiping and giggling instead of getting ready for the pub! it looks glorious with the butterfly belt, kick ass boots and funky hat!
Boo to rain, it always saps our enthusiasm and vitality!

Krista, you look so beautiful in that fabulous frock, how great to have such lovely associations of Vix and Co. in Walsall whenever you wear it. The puff sleeves do my heart good too!
And your hat is a joy, so very you (though I'd like to steal it so it could be so very me too!) I am enjoying the hats on show in blogland at the moment.
I hope your quiet crafty creative snuggly weekend does you the world of good. Some weeks do seem harder than others, and it sounds like you need to recharge a little...
Have fun, show and tell next week, big kisses for lovely you! xxxxxxxxxxx

Yes yes yes, I totally love your hat!!! Sounds like it took a flying leap into your hands. I believe sometimes clothing finds US this way.
And tell me this because I'm totally intrigued. What are the two little rock things on the landing there by your feet? :)

Ooh I love this dress so much - I love the colours and the beautiful floral and the length and the puffy sleeves - and it's even more special since it holds such fab memories for you. And the hat is amazing - you look so beautiful, Krista. It's cold and rainy and horrible here too - I wish I had a fire to sit by! Love! Sarah xxx

Honey, you've got a bod that melts rocks!!!!!! The designer of that gorgeous frock must have been thinking of a futuristic hot babe that would kick some serious arse in it with pink Docs, butterfly belt and an incredible hat!! She was born and her name is Krista. Loveyamorethanallthatisgreen. xoxooxoxoxox
