HO HO HO!

Even with yesterdays freezing temperatures I was warmed to the bone when I  found out Chris's Mom was leaving the hospital.  She is now recovering peacefully at home with her hubby and lil dog.  That is one tough woman.  We will have a lovely Christmas after all. Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers, it worked!
I even felt like taking pictures again.  I scored these BM leggings for 1/2 off, I love anything with comic book print.
Ok I think I am ready to head out into the cold for a minute and share my new coat with you!
Here I am sporting my new crushed gray velvet trimmed in white faux fur coat.
It's like a Santa coat but gray, super warm and made in good old England.  Cost was $18.
I also added that pimped out trucker belt.  I think it's a nice touch.
This hat was sent to me from Sarah and I swear it goes with everything as do polka dots.
I am wearing jewelry from people I love.  The wings were from Lucy and the pink horn was Vix's Mom's.  I feel good when I wear these.
 Warm!
  Wet!
 Rainbows!
I have been pretty spoiled with presents and I can't wait to share some with you.  Here is a teaser.
Best Christmas ornament ever, made by the super crafter, Christmas crazy, Tamera!  We are both "dog people" as Chris would say and therefore are a bit nutty when it comes to our pooches :)  I love it Tamera!  Thank you!

You kept that stunning coat quiet! I love it especially pimped up with that cool trucker belt and groovy hat of Sarah's. You look like a sexy pimp in that peeping through your hat photo! The spotty dress, pom pom scarf & the leggings combo look amazing on you in your boudoir shot and I'm in awe of all your colourful jewellery.
Tamera's Peetee and Krista bauble is possibly the best Xmas dec ever!
Love you! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Great news about Chris's mum

Happy news about your Mom-in-law. I'd say stay warm, but with that coat, how could you not be?

That trucker belt is perfect! The coat is beautiful and even more cinched in on your tiny waist. What a great color for fur too. A classic you probably won't ever get tired of.

Thankful to hear your mother-in-law is going to be okay. I've never heard of that diagnosis until you mentioned it. You guys certainly have something big to be thankful for this year.

Now, let me get closer and tried to read the "funnies" on your legs.

That coat is amazing, I bet you feel warm and toasty in it, as well as looking gorgeous! Great addition of the belt too.
It's official, leopard print and polka dots go with everything, they are like neutrals but more interesting!
I always love wearing the gifts that blogger friends have sent me, it feels extra special to be connected to so many lovely women via their kindness. Speaking of gifts, that bauble from Tamera is just the perfect Christmas decoration for you, isn't it? Chris needs a pair of baubles (stop laughing) with Ash and Zoe on them, so no one feels left out!
Good news about Chris' mum, hope her recovery is quick and straightforward. xxxxxxxx

Hi Krista, just caught up on reading your wonderful blog. So sorry to read about Chris's Mum and hope she is recovering well. You look so cute and snuggly in the gorgeous grey and white coat. The leggings are really cool and the polka dot dress too. Here in NZ in my city we are finally getting warm weather so there is no chance I will be needing a fur coat, but if I did, I seriously love the lime green one from one of your previous posts.

Grey/gray and faux fur and warm and super sexy with the belt? Can a coat get ANY better? No way. Ever.
I had a comic print jumper in the eighties, boy did I wear it to death. Such a fun and cool design.
I love the bedroom shot with the glimpses of all that fantastic colour in your home. I have to visit one day.
The hat is a classic, the shape suits you and the muted colours don't distract from the fabulousness that is your super-fit bod and rainbow explosion clothes, accessories and hair.

I must become Tamera's chum! She is awesome at making stuff isn't she? And getting the style and colours right proves she pays attention!

So pleased Chris' mom will be settled back at home to enjoy Christmas. Nobody wants to be in hospital at the best of times, but Christmas has to be the worst.
Loads of grey fur hugs,

Lucy x

Sorry my comments are all over the place Krista. Glad for you all that Chris's mum is home, hospital is a depressing place at the best of times, but Christmas is the worst, I hope she continues to get better. That coat is gorgeous, I had one that shape when I was little and I loved it so much. I bought my daughter a similar one in hot pink when she was little, and she loved it so much she wore it until the sleeves were nearly touching her elbows! The soft grey is great to set off all your pink and bright colours too. Hope you all have a lovely Christmas. xx
