See what 4 bucks got me!

I mentioned how much fun I had thrifting on Saturday and I have been dying to share what I scored with you!  The store I found these at is called Vintage by the Pound.   The price is $6 a pound and these two frocks cost all of $4.  I think I love them both just a little more because they were such a bargain.  No guilty pleasures here.
I really like this dress, the colors, the cut and even the length.
I need to re-do my roots but can you believe how bright my hair still is after a month and a half?
Next up was this beautiful handmade number.
I don't even have to hem it!
Worn with my handmade Frida necklace from Tamera, who is having a Birthday real soon!
Our new refrigerator was delivered yesterday, it's gorgeous, well except for the lengthwise dent that goes all the way across the front because the delivery guys rammed it up our narrow staircase.  No worries though another arrives on Friday.  I think being an appliance delivery guy is ass busting work and the last thing I wanted to do was be one of those crazy ladies flipping will all work out in the end and that's all that matters.

Tonight I am taking a paint class with my friend Kathi and her daughter Brianna.  I'm pretty excited and I'll be sure to share with you what we make.  It's almost Friday......YAH!!!!!  How is everyone's week?

Those dresses are even more fabulous on your hot bod than they were when you showed them me on the hangers. I love them adn am amazed by the bargainous price, you look beautiful in both of them!!!
Well done on getting the fridge exchanged and for staying calm & polite, I don't know whether I'd have managed to have kept my cool. I'd probably have been one of those mental women.
A painting class sounds like a brilliant evening of fun, can't see what you create.
Might speak later???
Love you! xxxxx

You look amazing in both, but the skirt!!! omg I really really love the skirt! Such a deal-- so awesome. Nice job being cool about the fridge. I'm sure the last thing those guys wanted was to ding the fridge. Can't wait to hear about the art class. Art makes everything better :)

I completely in love with the first dress. Vintage by the Pound, oh my god! Good thing I live on the other side of the country, I'd be so broke.

The last time I got a new fridge the handles had to be take off to fit in the door. Paying the extra to have something delivered or installed is well worth the money. Plus, it usually includes a free haulaway of the old stuff

I can't wait to hear all about your paint class and see some more of your work. Soo exciting.

What a great price for those two beautiful dresses! The soft floaty blue and pink one is so pretty on you, but my heart has been stolen by the maxi (no surprise there!) Aren't dresses fabulous?!
You are nice not to make a scene about the fridge, I would have been seething a little...
Can't wait to see what you create at your art class - you are such a creative person, it is bound to be amazing! xxxxx

My week is going great, thanks for asking! And no, it's not weird at all that you want vacations where you connect with people instead of hitting the sites. I totally get it. ;) People connections are so much more important.
I can't believe how cheap you got those dresses. I think about the only place I've been where they charge by the pound was down there in Portland somewhere. Many moons ago. They both fit perfect! I thought the second one was a maxi skirt, even better as a dress. But I do love a good maxi!
Have a fun weekend Krista!

SCORE!!!! The skirt is especially fabularse!!! But everything you wear becomes fabularse once you've got your mitts on it!
Ooo, bugger about the ding to the fridge, but awesome if they replace, no questions. Stairs must be such a nightmare, but I guess they've been doing this thang for years and so are very experienced in tight spots!
Love your colours!XXXXXXXXX

Hey Krista, both outfits are gorgeous, love the floaty capelet style sleeves on the first dress but I have to say the maxi takes first prize for me today. I'd be wanting a replacement refridgerator too if it had a dirty big dent down the front - especially if its brand new!!! Have fun at your painting class - sounds fab x
