You make me happy

After so many, well it almost fits, I had almost given up on buying dresses on ebay.  However, when I spotted a lot of 7 dresses all in my size I could not resist.  This was one of the seven~ only one did not fit and Vix, it's in the post!
I ended up paying about $7 a dress, pretty sweet if you ask me.
Huge fan of ruffles here.
I also found this purse at the Vintage by the Pound, the beads gave it some weight cost $4.
I find myself pretty happy today.  Lots of things making me smile.  First off is my oldest nephew who is a senior in high school.  He spent the last two years working his ass off and saved up and bought himself a 2013 Dodge Challenger!
We spoke yesterday and he is over the moon.  I had to tell him how proud I was of him and to drive safe.  If he's gonna gun it make sure its a straight away there are no cops around.  Priceless advice from Auntie Krista who almost lost her license at his age for countless speeding tickets and that was in a Datsun 210!
I love getting random texts from my family.  My sister, Mom and the boys sent me this from their Sunday adventure.
Clare made me squeal like Helga when I received a parcel from her yesterday. Just look at her painting of my Peetee!!!!  I love it Clare!!!!  Thank you!!!!
Also in it was this sweet Hello Kitty wallet I had lusted over when she bought hers.
A gorgeous print dress that I will have to rework because my boobs are just too BIG!  I love the colors so much!!!!!  She also made me a CD with some insane music on it, totally loving that Clare!!!!
My friend  Kathi the mad knitter made me this sweet hair tie, which does not look like two wieners tied this way:) Such pretty colors.
I have a lot to be thankful for in my life.
My friend Shannon gave me this bracelet, it suits me don't you think?  Remember she and her husband stayed with Chris and I for a few days on their honeymoon?  She's pregnant!  I just saw pictures from the ultrasound!!!
Yes today is a good day!  I hope yours is too!

Yay! Such a happy post!
Well done to your nephew, respect to someone that young who saves for something rather than see it as his birthright and saddle himself in debt. Go easy, boy!
Parcels of joy! Clare's done you proud, that picture of Peetee is adorable and I love the purse and that sneak peek of frock!
Talking of frock, wow, that one you're wearing is heavenly, turquoise and ruffled and it's got you in it, could it be any more fabulous? Those beaded bags sell for loads here, what a bargain!
Kathi's creation rocks and Shannon's cuff sums you up [perfectly. I'm so happy for them!
Love you! xxxxxxx

Love the bag and the headband and cuff, and Clare's Peetee painting is fabulous. The fabric of the dress is wonderful, I hope you can rework it to accommodate the girls!
Good for your nephew for working hard to save up for his car. Auntie Krista is allowed to give advice, she's learnt about life from experience!
Good to hear you so upbeat and joyful, darling! xxxxxx

I loooove the bracelet, and so you! and me! hee hee
I'm thrilled for your nephew. He must have worked his butt off to pay for that baby. He's going to be grinning from ear to ear as he drives the miles away..for a long time. I love seeing the young people today work hard for what they want, instead of begging the parents to get it for them.
Another cute dress to add to your colorful closet. I love the idea of buying an entire lot. Especially for cheap. There's bound to be a stunner in there. Looks like you got what you bargained for!

Look at the picture of the headband on this website:

http://www.spudandchloe.com/patterns/rosie-headband/

It doesn't look like it should need to be tied that much. Oh well. You do what you have to do to make it look like you don't have two weiners on top of your head! ;-)

Clare sent you some lovely gifts Krista, the painting of PeeTee is sooo cute, I'm sure it will have pride of place in your home! And that peek of dress looks amazing, also the lovely dress you got yourself. I've given up buying clothes on Ebay, I really need to try before I buy because like you, too many things just haven't been quite right. Everyone here is right, you are such a happy soul, I've been reading lots of Kurt Vonnegut lately and one of his quotes reminded me of you, basically he was saying it's good to stop now and then and say to yourself "if this isn't nice, I don't know what is" and I imagine you remember to do that a lot. xx

Your nephew show how well your sister raised him! Good on him for saving for something he really wanted and obtaining the goal in the end!!! A great life lesson!
Loving that blue and green dress, the ruffles are amazing as are the buttons down the front-too cute! A great dress to contract with your pinkness!:) And, that floral toppper is the best! Also, love Kathi's creation, very cute and looks great with the braids! We'll have to see what can be done with the dress-alterations are hard but that dress looks worth it!;)
And, think the best part of this post, besides Free Spirit YOU, is that cute little painting of Peetee, Claire is very talented, she really captured his spirit and cuteness!:)
