Chop chop and vintage frocks

What a weekend of firsts I tell you!  I can finally call myself an Oregonian because I have used a wood chipper and chopped down trees.  Chris I and helped our friends on saturday trim some trees around their house.  I did not wear this.
These are from last Friday when I hung out with Cristi. She is now making these turbans too, I like mine as I do her hubby's black hat.
Cristi of KMK is a cat lady through and though.
I also did not wear these lilac Converse and cute pink sock combo.
or my yummy new pair of Kiss Me Kitty leggings
  or these boots
Nope, what I wore is not post worthy but what I did is:) Here is our ride to the tree tops
and here I am way up high yelling because I am kinda pissing myself a bit right there.
Who doesn't think of that scene in Fargo when using one of these?

I was having far too much fun to call this work.
There is my babe being all manly!
I love working up a sweat and getting a little dirty.  I hope you all had a nice weekend!

Hey Krista, thank you for visiting! yeah, I'm working on the sharing thing, I started my blog when I was at the start of 5 years of being bound by hardcore hollywood studio confidentiality clauses (sounds wanky, but is true) and I never learned how to share my life much at all. Now I can, but it feels weird! I adore your pink hair by the way, it matches my pink dress!

I love that patchwork dress, it's so cute! Looks like a fun weekend! I used to go wood carting with my parents and I always found it fun, but never in a cherry picker! You always have such fun clothes x

Ha, ha, ha - as soon as I hear the word wood chipper I think of Fargo. "I guess that was your accomplice in the wood chipper..." Your version is much more G rated and I like it. And I love your turban, new leggings (Kristi is so busy!), and patchwork maxi. You're not Canadian until you wear a touque and chop wood as well.

Oops, I mean Cristi.

1. I love the dress.
2. Love lilac converse.
3. FRINGED BOOTS LOVE.
4. I think I would like to work with a wood chipper. It does look like fun. Or maybe you just make it look like fun. :-)

That patchwork dress is ADORABLE!! And Cristi is cute in her cat shirt and grass legggings!!
I must say--what I can see of you, you looked awfully cute helping mulch trees!!
Turbans eh?? Cristi could market these to chemo patients--they look far cooler then the crap that's available now for them!!

Bloody hell. When you said you were tree-trimming, I was thinking of hedge clippers and some mild chainsaw action, not a flippin' cherry picker!!!!!! Yes I'd be screaming too! I don't think I'll ever look at a woodchipper in the same way after Fargo - love that movie! I gasped with awe at you in your INCREDIBLE patchwork-print maxi - it's completely AMAZING!!!!! Adore the Chucks with frilly socks and your beautiful new leggings from Christi - I'm certainly not surprised at two incredibly talent chicks becoming firm friends:) xoxoxoxo

The pink socks and lilac converse!! I love that combo so much! More excellent leggings too, Cristi must have an endless supply of amazing patterns. The dress is so very cute! I just want to squeeze you! I wouldn't trust myself not to do something hideously clumsy round the wood chipper, but I'd love a go on the cherry picker! xxxxxxx
