My hearts content

It's my favorite weekday Friday and I think a perfect post would be filled with what has me smiling the most right now.  I finally figured out, because I wonder about stuff ya know, why I love animals and kids so much.  Are your curious?
Or do you want to see more of my dress because this is all you'll get of this yummy 1970's maxi I found for $16.   I promise to wear it again and show it off proper:)
 Back to my recent revelation.
Animals truly see us at our best and worst and love us unconditionally!  Even human beings aren't always capable of that.
 My pack.
Kids, even though I have none of my own, by their very nature are so imaganitive and curious, playful and innocent.  To be around them sets one's spirit free and suddenly I am a child again.   These girls are   a joy to be around.
They had fun wearing my tiaras.
Here they are with their Dad our friend Dave.  He brought them over yesterday to feed the ducks at the pond by our house.
It had been too long since I last saw them.
 We looked for fairies
  and quacked at ducks
 and ran from ducks
I was also reminded of a basic human nature that starts oh so young, mine.  Lil Rachel just wanted all the dolls, can you blame her really:)
I am blessed to have so many kids in my life to love and critters to cuddle.
Enjoy the weekend you beautiful creatures you!

Even if you don't have your own kids, I think it's good to have some in your life to remind you of how to play and be silly. I'm sure that little girls think you are the cat's meow with your candy-coloured hair and cheerful dresses. The colours in that maxi are so ridiculously happy. Have a great weekend Krista!

Ah, yes, little furry critters that love us no matter what are my favourite thing!!!
I do enjoy time with kids, but they really wear me out!!! I don't have all that many kids in my life, actually, so I've never really gotten used to them.
That frock looks srumdiddlyumptious and I am gagging for a better view!

Beautiful post lovely Krista. Kids and animals are special - There is real purity there I think because they live in their bodies and hearts. Sometimes us human adults spend too much time in our heads. Oh and more dress please - looks scrumptious! xx

I love having pets round, they're so great for the soul. Can't confess to feeling the same way about children, but who knows, that might change. Those girls are so cute!
