If you want perfect conditions you'll never get anything done!

This week has seriously been crazy!  After driving a stick shift most of my entire life I decided I wanted to get an automatic. Less than 24 hours later my car sold for full asking price.  I don't mess around when I set my mind to something. Woo Hoo!  Now I have no car:)  Chris and I will share his until I get my new one, you can imagine how happy that makes him. So what am I getting?  A MINI Cooper S!  I custom ordered it and aside from PINK not being a color option I think she will be a real beauty! Dream car on the way, 2 months and counting!
Today we are going to have the hottest day of the year, BRING IT ON!
I am wearing one of only 3 yellow dresses I own.  This is an Old Navy dress bought at the Goodwill for $3. I am also wearing a pair of crazy sneaker wedges!
They are also extremely comfy.  The brand is Daddy's Money which in my opinion are super overpriced.  I was delighted to find a stash of these at Ross all under $20.  I also picked up a black sequin high top pair.
The nice thing about not having a car is it forces me to slow down, something I have trouble doing.
I'm channeling Pippi Longstocking.
I'm hoping that a little bit of sun is shining on you right now!  Have a wonderful few days of freedom!

Chop chop and vintage frocks

What a weekend of firsts I tell you!  I can finally call myself an Oregonian because I have used a wood chipper and chopped down trees.  Chris I and helped our friends on saturday trim some trees around their house.  I did not wear this.
These are from last Friday when I hung out with Cristi. She is now making these turbans too, I like mine as I do her hubby's black hat.
Cristi of KMK is a cat lady through and though.
I also did not wear these lilac Converse and cute pink sock combo.
or my yummy new pair of Kiss Me Kitty leggings
  or these boots
Nope, what I wore is not post worthy but what I did is:) Here is our ride to the tree tops
and here I am way up high yelling because I am kinda pissing myself a bit right there.
Who doesn't think of that scene in Fargo when using one of these?

I was having far too much fun to call this work.
There is my babe being all manly!
I love working up a sweat and getting a little dirty.  I hope you all had a nice weekend!

Dogs never bite me, just humans

I think most of you know by now that I have named my blog after my dog Peetee.  Since I work from home we spend a lot of time together.
He's my boy.  If only he could also be my photographer:)
These pictures are from Sunday when the weather was beautiful!
I'm also wearing a new pair of KMK leggings, these are Pink Hounds You!
The dress was $6 at Goodwill.
Peetee weaseling his way into my arms.
 EEEEEWWWWWWWWWW!
I love all the crazy pattern action in this outfit!

Bracelets and ring made by me.
Leggings made with love by Cristi of KMK.
 My Peetee pumpkin pie.
Can you believe the week is almost over?!

Be true to your work, your word, and your friend!

As much as I enjoyed the weekend I do feel a bit like I missed it. How could it have gone by so fast?  I spent most of Saturday in my garden with the critters.  That night Cristi and her honey came over to play a new game I picked up called Cards Against Humanity, a card game for horrible people, and a recently funded Kickstarter project. It was a lot of laughs and I chose the perfect group to play with.  I also made Cristi take pictures with me!
She is sporting her latest pair of Kiss Me Kitty leggings called VERTIGO.
And because we both work out and believe a strong woman is a sexy woman.
 Check out our guns!!!
I am constantly reminded why friends are so important, and as my life continues some of these friends become family.
Cristi is a real gem and we have so many things in common and so many things to share with each other too.
 It was a lovely day.
Spent with people I love!  Sunday was finished perfectly by celebrating Birthdays with these two.
It was a pirate mermaid party:)  WIN!

How important are your friends in your life?

Rainbow Sparkle baby

I'm in love with this brighter than sunshine jewelry line called Sparkle Beast Designs.   Made by a gal in Virginia you can feel good buying it too because you are supporting an independent artist. I love that direct connection to the creator.  I'm just having a difficult time narrowing down which one I want.

Of course I love pink and this sunset color combination.
I know someone with blue hair that could rock this.
These rainbow babies really make me want to wear ear rings.
 These too.

You choose your netting to match your skin tone so the gems appear to float on you.  Love that.
I saved the best for last.  I think this is my favorite.
You can check more of her stuff out here.  Only a few more days left in the work week and that we can all be thankful for.
