Finally SNOW!

Our trip to San Diego is right around the corner and it's kinda funny that we just got our first real snow storm since 2008.  I think falling snow is the most beautiful and peaceful thing to watch.  Its makes everything and I mean everything look gorgeous!
Of course I had to take some of my toys outside to play with.
It was just me and a neighbor's kid outside in our own little snowy world.  First it looked like this.
then this
I think we got about 4 inches!
It's the perfect weather for playing inside too.  I wanted to show off my new Brigitte pillow made by Ilaria.  You can buy her stuff here.  I also ordered They Call Her One Eye for the living room.
The quality is top notch and the print itself is beautiful!

 Peetee's new cuddle spot.

I have spent a lot of time in my spare bedroom lately.  I call it my dressing room:)
I found the above painting for $5.  Ain't she sweet?
It's all about the cute and colorful in this room.
 Recent score for 99 cents.
 My vanity perfect for primping.
I also received the cutest box of goodies from Shelley at Forest City Fashionista.
I can't wait to incorporate these into something creative.  Thanks Shelley I love everything!
My friend in San Diego went to Disneyland recently and they brought me back this cute fascinator from Ariel's grotto.

 New polish called Lava.
Poor Peetee!
I also had one of our bathrooms remodeled this week, once it's painted I will share it with you.  I am also having the entryway to our home painted one of these colors!
Phew that was a lot of updates and that's not even all of it!  Until next time, I have to get some work done and then I wanna play in the snow some more!

What's everyone doing this weekend?

OMG I just died!! I LOVE YOUR GUEST ROOM! You got old seventies dolls and Blythe and and..Its so pink and pretty! I keep thinking someday I'll find a vintage Blythe but I'd be happy with a new one too!
The snow rocks huh! Makes me extremely homesick. Supposed to be a few more inches tonight. Be safe, OK? Even if your good at driving in snow, goodness knows there are probably a lot who are not!

That could be our room soon!!!! Damn, I need to sell my arse off and this is the perfect incentive. Its gorgeous, I love everything and Peetee looks right at home all snuggled up in that rainbow of cushions!
Love your quirky hat (and Peetee's turban) but definitely not liking that snow - but its much prettier than our incessant rain I suppose!
Love you and stay warm! xxxxxxxxx

I do like the snow! lovely crunchy fresh snow and you must have been chuffed when it fell - Peetee looks so happy there, I would too! it's a wonderful place to be, so much loveliness! I could spend hours there! the colours are fab for your entryway although bizarrely in our house with the lighting a lot of our colour choices always look like Pale Orchid! have a top weekend! x x x

Freshly fallen snow is lovely, it makes over a landscape into something clean and new and quiet. Then it gets slushy, or frozen and treacherous, and I don't like it any more!
Oh your guest room looks so pretty! It's a perfect expression of you, Krista, pretty, quirky, creative, and colourful. Great cushion from Ila and so much cuteness (Peetee!!!)Shelley's a star to send you some cool stuff for your art, and I'm looking forward to seeing the remodeling and repainting in your home. In the meantime - go build a snowman and have a snowball fight with Chris! xxxx

Oh, lovely snow. It hides all the grime and gives fresh clean hope to everything. It even softens sound. I'm glad you got a chance to play in it. Your vanity is awesome. Did it make you pink or did you make it pink?...the eternal question. But don't change a thing! What a great treasure box from Shelley. Have fun with your new projects.

The snow is so lovely! I just love snow! Your spare room is amazing - seriously, when I see rooms like that I know that working towards buying a house is a good idea so we can decorate it any way we want. I love your new nail polish too - hope you've been having a great weekend:)

Soo many joyful candy colours and cute stuff - I love your spare room (maybe I'll get to sleep in it one day?). That fluffy pink lamb doll is the coolest, and he looks very pretty in the snow. We've had more today, it just keeps coming, but I'm glad that mother nature decided to send some over to you ;)

We got our first snow here in TX too! But... it all melted within hours. Sad face. I love the thingy with the butterfly wings by the way!! And of course I dig that fascinator.

Whew, I haven't read your blog in a while! The snow was kinda fun. I wouldn't have minded if it stuck around a bit longer. That pic of peetee with the bracelet on his head is so funny. I can't wait to see how the walls came out
