Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud

I first heard of Maya Angelou in college and I quickly became a fan of her beautiful way of expression.  There was just something about the way she wrote that touched me deeply and to hear her read her own words aloud was a mesmerizing experience.  I will miss her presence on this earth.

Well the weekend is almost here and I actually got up early and made time for a quick outfit post after I worked out.  It feels good to take care of me again. Its finally warm enough to wear a dress I received so long ago for my birthday from Vix.
Its pretty fabulous because its covered in skeletons that are dancing and drinking up a storm!
I thought leopard went nicely with it.
My hair is growing so fast time for another cut.

Red bracelet in the center from the lovely Em!

 Man I'm white!

I hope everyone has a lovely weekend!

That dress is perfect on you! The print is wonderful, and of course leopard print was called for - when isn't it? You look brighter, Krista, and more back to your old self. Flashing, pulling cheeky faces - yep, she's back! You have to look after yourself, it's the only way to keep going. But a bit of blogging friend love, by way of fabulous gifts, helps the healing along. Love you, darling! xxxxx

Yes, indeed, should I happen across that Dia de los Muertos print in a fabric pile, I'd think: "Oh, Krista could dance in this!"

It's a gorgeous dress and perfect on you, it's fabulous! what an amazing gift from Vix and the beautiful bracelet from Em, wearing gifts makes me feel better (it's true! my Mum gave me a bracelet for Christmas, I say it has the power of Rosie -her name - in it, she's like a little rottweiler!it's a good thing!) and it was incredibly sad to hear about the passing of Maya Angelou, she really was inspirational x x x

Smokin in that dress!!! Love it. For a second I giggled thinking the mention of a hair cut was reference to the shot with your skirt up...if you know what I mean! Xx

This dress sis so you!!! That Vix - she knows her friend well all right. Happy (very belated or very early( birthday! :) You look FUN, as always!

Didn't know Maya Angelou passed away. Great poet and philosophical mind! Being a rainbow and sunshine when it's dark around you - the greatest gift on earth, isn't it? You, my dear, got it! xxxxxx

I'm afraid I haven't read any Maya Angelou, maybe I should. You are looking wonderful Krista, full of your old spark. Your hair is so gorgeous, that pink is just the best colour and what about that dress from Vix? It is SO you. You look amazing in it with your leopard skin legs. Like a totally alternative Mexican Catwoman. Xxxxx

I'm afraid I'm in Tania's camp, other than The Color Purple I know nothing of Maya Angelou but after the news coverage on the BBC following her death I quite fancy reading some of her work.
That dress looks awesome on you, what a fit! Its just perfect with leopard, something plain wouldn't do at all! Ace bangles and fecking gorgeous hair.
Glad you're taking care of you again. You deserve it!
Love you! xxxxxxxxxx
