She shoots her colors all around like a sunset going down :)

I had every intention of paying someone to color my hair, then I realized I trust myself way more than anyone else.  I guess that's what happens when you dye your own hair for over 20 years. I also feel much better about wearing this look because I created it!  There is something very satisfying about that.  Sure rich folks can buy whatever they want but it feels so much better when you create it for yourself.
Here is my new color.  Orange on top and fuchsia underneath.  It will take a bit of getting used to but I love how crazy VIBRANT it is.
 Its pretty hard to photograph.
This is a close up of my hair and my heart.
A colorful reminder of my Dad.

I did my hair in several steps over a few days.
 My necklace from Tania.
It really does look like a sunset.
My sweet new sugar skull purse.
 Some found fabric $4.
 My cute necklace again!

Cristi and I went to watch our friend Teresa give a cooking class.  She is the creator of Enlighten Your Palate.
 She did a great job!
This is what your face looks liken when you say cheese!  Not a good look:)
Teresa's roommate Dana has great style.
 One of her yummy creations.
 Me dorking it up.
I made a dress! Thanks to all you inspiring seamstresses out there!  VIX, PAO, CURTISE, HELGA, just to name a few.....It came out awful, but I don't care I completed it.  I need to use a pattern next time as this one I just traced from another dress I love.  The vintage fabric I used was dirt cheap.
Ya see that clock back there?  That was 7:44 AM this morning, not bad for a work at home gal :)
I'm a rainbow!

You are a rainbow! And everyone always wants to see a rainbow :) love the new hair, makes me feel rather dull just having boring brown. I'm amazed you haven't done sewing before. I know you are so clever At making things, it won't be long before you're doing it in your sleep. That food course sounds fascinating, look at those ingredients! Love your customer service face at the top!! Keep up the good work. Xxxxx

I didn't think you could improve on perfection but you did! Your hair looks magnificent and I'm blown away that you did it yourself! More money for flights and booze and fun!!!
That me-made dress is adorable. Isn't it so empowering just to whip something up on a whim? You've got the bug now, I bet! Who'd notice any wonky stitching with that kick ass print anyway???
The food class looks like such fun! She's got a pink pinny and everything. Food sure has changed since my days as a chef!
Love you! xxxxxxx

I FREAKING LOVE YOUR HAIR!!!! Yes, that was me shouting at you from waaaayyy over here. I too am pink and orange now, but it is a tiny rainbow compared to the brilliant sunset that is your glorious mane of hair.

Yay you for making the dress. I hear it's the kind of thing that gets better with practice, not that I would know as the last thing I sewed were curtains for my apartment about 20 years ago....

As is your fecking HAOIR!! Love love LOVEit! So vibrant, so YOU! I'm far too chicken to fiddle with my hair, it's been this henna red for probably 15 or more years now!!!
So many great pix and gloriarse frockage in this brighten up my day, darling!

Wow, Krista, your hair is amazing! Bright and vibrant and full of energy and joy, just like you! And you will have saved a packet doing it yourself, so that's even better.
Your self-sewn dress is really cute, it doesn't matter if it isn't perfect; that fabric is so fantastic, and sewing definitely gets easier the more you do. Ha, I should get my arse in gear and do some myself instead of preaching at you!
Teresa's cookery class looks like fun, and it's always lovely to see Cristi (hiya, darling!)
You are indeed a rainbow, and a very beautiful one! xxxx

Good Lord I love your hair! I didn't realize there was even yellow in it until the last picture. Honestly I don't know if anyone can do it as well as you. I've always been disappointed when I had a professional color my hair. I've been thinking about going lavender. I know i'll do it,, I just keep putting it off. I heart your hair hardcore! It's amazeballs!

Your hair is INSANE!!! Wow. Really amazing. I don't doubt it took a few days to get it there.

Congrats on making your own dress too. You have more guts and patience that I. It turned out quite cute.

I like that purse too and your amazing cool wall decor. LOVE!
