That was fun and now I'm beat

Seriously November how did you sneak up on me like that?!  This Halloween I did my first ever attempt at sugar skull makeup and I think it came out killer!  Cristi and I started our night out at the Doll Asylum, some might remember it from last year and we ended it at a party of 20 somethings.....that was funny.  However, before I share the photos I had to show off these gorgeous cards I just received in the post,  made by the talented Tania at Freckleface.

I simply love all of her designs!
She also included this Hello Kitty compact and the cutest handmade necklace that I'll share later.  It has been on my neck quite a bit.
I made some DOD cookies, or at least tried.

This is as far as I got before I just was like, enough!
Peetee had a play date with Cindy Loo.
 Got into the halloween spirit!
My make-up for Halloween.  Sugar pill kicks ass for highly pigmented eye shadow!
I also glued rhinestones around my eyes.  It took me about 2 hours to complete this look.
I finally got to wear my dress that Vix sent me for my birthday last year.  How perfect is it!

Cristi was a sexy pale vampire.

Some pictures from the Doll Asylum.

Vanessa, this one is for you my dear!

Cristi's godson Oli and his girlfriend were throwing a party.  They were dressed as Romi and Michelle.
Sunday I worked with Cristi at Siren Nation.  This was the most beautiful creation of the day.
Alea does amazing work.  I bought one of the rainbow hearts.
Betty Lou came by for a visit.
 Made my day.

There is my necklace from Tania popping out, it's the choker.

So many people stopped by to say hello the day flew by!
I thought Fiona and her Mom Tammy looked so beautiful in purple.
What a killer fun exhausting weekend.  I know that was a lot but you how I roll.

Your makeup is simply AMAZING! And Vix's dress is truly wonderful and perfect for you and for this celebration. Christi's costume is fun too, you girls compliment each other's looks, and yes, I remember seeing photos from that doll house before - I admire the owners' creativity! Hope Peetee had good fun with his friend. :) Love seeing so much colors and designs in your post, Krista, it's always such a treat! Those cards are great, what a talented friend you have! xxx

I was saving this post till the very end! I'm in awe! That dress fits like a dream and I'm dying over that make-up, its amazing!! 2 hours? It would have taken me two years!!!! You and Cristi are the best (but Peetee and Cindy Loo are pretty adorable!)
That doll asylum looks ever scarier than it did last year...I'm glad I've got a few hours till bedtime or I'll have nightmares!
Tania's parcel is amazing. Her designs are gorgeous, aren't they?
Love youuuuuuuu! xxxx

Lovely to see Betty Lou!
You gals looked DIVOON! Fecking awesome costumes! And for once I appreciate the dolls...usually I loathe dolls. No idea why, loved them as kid! A doll on a spit is my idea of a good time!
O, Tania is such a talented love!

Oh my goodness, that make up is amazing, I love it! The dress from Vix is perfect, and you and Cristi both look stunning. The Doll Asylum is hilarious, what a great place, I remember it well from your photos last Halloween.
Now wait a minute... does Peetee have a GIRLFRIEND? Cindy Loo is a cutie, isn't she?
Love those biscuits, Tania's designs are wonderful (she gave me some cards and I am too much of a meanie to give them away to anyone!) and Alea's wings are incredible. Hurray for KMK and visits from friends, so sweet to see that Betty Lou dropped by to say hello!
A busy weekend, but a bloody good one! xxxx

Your makeup is stunning! Incredible. I bet those 20-somethings can't wait to grow up(?) to be just like you and Cristi. The Romi and Michelle movie is one of my favourites. I'd want to be the Rhoda. There'd be no argument from me.
The doll asylum, ha ha ha. Love it. Always best to go there in costume, the photo at the barbeque pit is perfectly ghoulish.
And Tania, that's serious talent there. Awesome work.

Tania's designs are wonderful. She's so talented.
Love the wings too. I could do with a pair to wear to work!
Glad it was such a fab weekend.

Your photos only confirmed what I already knew...damn squirrels are evil! LOL Mind you, the dolls are even scarier. Freaky deaky.

Surely Peetee gets 'best in 4-legged halloween class' for this outfit?
Amazing make-up to do justice to the dress vix found for you (just love her eye for what will look great on who).
And the creepy dolls - woah, the stuff of shiveringly macabre dreams...

What a fabulous weekend - no wonder you're exhausted. Two thumbs up for the sugar skull makeup! Cristi's fangs look so real! Some of those dolls are so seriously disturbing I don't know if I could go to the Doll Asylum without having nightmares afterwards. There is something about creepy baby dolls that I find more disturbing than the ones at the Dollirium Art doll shows.

Alea's wings are amazing, and I like the hearts too. I would have taken one of those home for sure.

Lovely to see Betty Lou again - she is a real doll! Skype soon??

Your sugar skull makeup turned out awesome!!! I've gotta get up there to check out that doll asylum!!! The his and hers Romi and Michelle costumes are just friggin brilliant!

I'm so glad you liked your little parcel :) my goodness, you look amazing in your day of the dead makeup and dress, just a vision of creativity, colour and fun! Look at Cristi with her fangs, she suits them!! I rather fancy one of those cookies! Who am I kidding, I'll have two! Little Peetee looks so cute and doleful in his halloween headpiece. If only animals could talk, eh? KMK seems to be going from strength to strength, which is wonderful. I bet you two together are so much fun that nobody can resist you. And look who showed up! Little Betty Lou. She's such a cutie. That Doll Asylum, is so brilliant and so terrifying! Xxxxx

Wow! Now that's what make-up is for. You look spectacular! And your ensemble is perfection. Add the palest version of Cristi with those teeth and camping about at the doll asylum...and you just can't get any better than that. Wow.
